Daisy

2nd November 2009

Daisy is an 8 year old Labrador Retriever who suffered severe pain in her hips and elbows. She was unable to walk very far, could not go up and down stairs or on and off her bed. Her hips and elbows were xrayed and this showed osteoarthritis in these joints. She was started on a course of hydrotherapy where she swam on a lead. She is a strong swimmer and progressed spectacularly.

She is now very active and lively and goes for 2 mile walks every day without signs of stiffness or discomfort. Her owner is thrilled "I cannot believe how well she is doing considering she could barely walk before. At 8 years old she is still quite young with many years of life ahead of her and the hydrotherapy is helping her brilliantly."
